We are a friendly and enthusiastic local society which meets to enjoy talks on on topics such as works of art, furniture, architecture, silver, glass, porcelain etc. Coffee and tea are available before each lecture to give you the opportunity to meet fellow members.

The Society organizes visits to art galleries, museums and places of historic and artistic interest in the UK and an annual tour, usually staying five nights, to UK and overseas cultural centres. The 2026 tour will be to 'The Chateaux, Gardens and Art of Normandy' from 7th to 12th September (4 nights). Further details from Lorna. Find out more in our Visits and Holidays section.

We also arrange an Annual Lunch for our members to enjoy.
